Alpha AMC is structured as a closed‐end SEBI AIF; accordingly, there is no general right to cancel or withdraw an investment once it has been made. In line with industry practice, Alpha AMC does not charge any membership or platform fee. All fees payable to Alpha AMC (such as management fees or performance (carry) fees) are non-refundable once due and paid.
As a matter of policy, any upfront or one-time fees collected by Alpha AMC (for example, entry/load fees or performance fees) are strictly non-refundable. Once you confirm your investment commitment and the funds are collected, those fees vest in Alpha AMC.
Refund of committed capital (called drawdowns) will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. Specifically, if a drawdown payment has been made but the fund has not yet been fully closed on that commitment, Alpha AMC may (but is not obliged to) return the funds, subject to the investment manager’s approval. In practice, investors should assume that once the fund or series is closed, no refund of capital is possible.
Any cancellation or withdrawal rights (if any) are governed by SEBI’s AIF Regulations and the fund’s constitutional documents. Alpha AMC typically includes a multi-year lock-in, and investors cannot redeem their interests prior to the end of the fund term (except as allowed by SEBI rules or the fund agreement).
Where SEBI regulations or the fund’s Offering Memorandum provide for a cooling-off period (if applicable for Category I AIFs), you may withdraw your investment within that limited period and have your capital returned (subject to any prescribed penalties or shortfall adjustments). Outside of such statutory provisions, no refunds are provided.
All cancellation and refund policies of Alpha AMC comply with SEBI’s Alternative Investment Fund regulations and are clearly disclosed in the fund’s offer document. For any queries about cancellations or refunds, please contact Alpha AMC’s Investor Services at support@alphaamc.com.
